Tuition

The Nursing Assistant Program tuition is $1,650.00 which covers essential costs such as the online course materials, background check, drug test, student uniforms, and CPR certification. Course materials are provided online, offering students convenient and flexible access to learning resources.

Items not covered by tuition include Tuberculosis (TB) skin test (or chest X-ray report if the TB test result is positive), health immunizations(mumps,measles,rubella,varicella,hep b,tdap,and influenza), and the SC Nurse Aide examination. Our approach ensures that you receive the essential training needed to succeed in your healthcare career.

Satisfactory completion of the course provides eligibility to take the National Nurse Aide Examination for South Carolina certification as a certified nursing assistant.

A nurse aide provides health care for clients and patients at home, hospitals, and other facilities under the direction of a nurse. They often help people under their care perform day-to-day tasks.

Our Mission

 The nursing assistant program is meticulously crafted to equip nursing assistant students with the fundamental skills necessary to provide care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Emphasizing innovation, our program is dedicated to delivering services that uphold the principles of compassion and quality care. Participants will engage in comprehensive training to fulfill the requirements for program completion.

Experienced Instructors

  The course aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and competencies needed to deliver fundamental care services to patients in acute care settings or residents in long-term care facilities. It serves as preparation for students to assume the role of a nursing assistant, working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). Aligned with the curriculum standards set by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), this course ensures that students meet the necessary requirements.

Flexible Training Options

 Through a combination of 40 hours of online curriculum, 20 hours of skills lab training, and 40 hours of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, students will undergo a comprehensive learning experience. Satisfactory completion of the course provides eligibility to take the National Nurse Aide Examination for South Carolina certification as a certified nursing assistant.

students will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas

  • Execute delegated patient/resident care tasks diligently and ensure thorough follow-up under the guidance of the nurse.
  • Understand the organizational structure of healthcare facilities and the collaborative roles within the healthcare team.
  • Utilize the knowledge gained throughout the course to proficiently administer fundamental healthcare services.
  • Communication Skills to effectively communicate with patients, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate ethical and moral conduct while administering care to patients/residents.
